“Twakok” comes from the words “tafac,” which means “sweet” and “kok,” which means “peach.” Coffees from the south of Ethiopia like this one are often produced from the traditional Ethiopian varieties in the region. This is also called Heirloom. The Sidamo Twakok is produced by villagers on small garden plots that they share with food and other crops.

Sidamo sun-dried Twakok has been very popular since the first time in 2018. In addition, with a score of 94 points, it was selected as the second highest score of Coffee Review’s espresso coffee topic in August 2018. In October 2020, Coffee Review once again recorded a high score of 94 points. Since the advent of Twakok, it has always been the bean version of the sun-dried method.
