In 2021, he won the Ethiopia Cup of Excellence with an anaerobic-processed coffee that achieved an outstanding score of 90.06 out of 100, further solidifying his reputation for quality and innovation.

Gute Village is located in the Bona Zuria district (woreda) of the Sidama Region, Ethiopia. The village is known in the specialty coffee market for producing distinctive microlots and heirloom varieties. Coffees from Gute Village are processed and marketed under the Alo Coffee brand and are sold internationally by specialty coffee traders under the name “Gute Village, Ethiopia.”
