After studying coffee roasting for a while, we concluded that there are some skills that need to be directly transferred from experts, otherwise it will take years of experimenting on my own. So I decided to study coffee roasting in America at the end of May 2007. At that time, roasting courses were usually only 2 days long, but we chose to study at Coffee Lab International, where the coffee roasting course was 5 days long because this course included a coffee tasting course (cupping) according to SCAA standards.
